Light up your crafty project in this festive season!

Dear All,
I always fascinated by lights, in my childhood I keep following fireflies. Here in USA I am seeing fire "flies" but we have fire caterpillars back in my home town, they are light green color and their tail has a light :-) and believe me they has particular smell too ...not bad one though :-)
I love bonfire. Sitting in front of fireplace is my all time favorite thing in winter time. I love decorating house with so many lights in Diwali and our Christmas tree is always glowing with variety of lights. I am a collector of candles and old oil lamps. I enjoyed power outage situation a lot in my childhood and that time there were no computers to worried about. I was waiting when my mom will burn some candles and we gather together around that tiny candle and talk about beautiful memories and sometime scary tales....LOL
Ok enough chatting....:-)
Here is my most requested canvas. This time I created 10X10 instead of 12X12.

First let me show you all the pictures and then kind of step by step photo tutorial for you and hope it helps. Way too easy and fun making. Nothing new or fancy :-)

Oh Archana, this project is splendid! I too have a wonder for lights - especially as the winter draws the nights in closer. I am originally from the UK, and there we had warm fireplaces, too!. I remember many evenings tucking in with Mum rosy cheeked from the heat of the fire, watching one of our favorite tv shows. Probably something like Rockford Files!!!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful project and bringing back such warm memories.

Your projects are absolutely fantastic!!! I love them, they are just gorgeous and the addition of the lights is just the finishing touch. I will have to try and see if I can find some battery light sets like these, but unfortunately these days most light sets tend to be solar. I'm hoping!!! Thank you so much for sharing how you did these!!!
